JobDrop ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your information when you use our job-matching service. We process personal data in accordance with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL).
JobDrop is a job-matching service operated under a trade licence issued in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. We are the data controller responsible for your personal data. For any privacy-related questions or requests, contact us at privacy@jobdrop.ae.
We collect the following categories of personal data:
Contact details
Your WhatsApp number and email address, used to create your account and deliver job matches.
Profile information
Your full name, job preferences, and preferred work location.
CV data
The contents of any CV you upload or build using our CV Builder, including your work history, education, skills, and certifications.
Usage data
Records of the jobs we match you with, your application statuses, and your interactions with our WhatsApp service.
Payment data
When you subscribe, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details — only your subscription status and customer reference.

We share your data only with the following service providers, who act as our data processors and are bound to protect your data:
Twilio
To deliver messages to you via WhatsApp.
Stripe
To process subscription and one-time payments securely.
Anthropic
To power our AI job scoring and CV tailoring. Your CV content is processed to generate matches and tailored documents.
Job data providers
We retrieve job listings from third-party job boards. We do not share your personal data with them.
Supabase
Our database and secure storage provider, where your account data and CV files are stored.
Recruiter sharing: We will never share your CV or contact details with recruiters or employers unless you explicitly enable recruiter visibility in your account settings. This is off by default and fully under your control.
Some of our service providers process data outside the UAE. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your data receives an adequate level of protection consistent with the PDPL.
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will erase your personal data, including your CV files and job history, within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain records (such as payment records) to comply with legal obligations.

We protect your data using industry-standard security measures, including encrypted storage of CV files, secure authentication, and access controls. CV files are stored privately and are only accessible through time-limited secure links. While we take security seriously, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
JobDrop is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via WhatsApp or email. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version.
